Where does the data come from?
All data is being read from forge.typo3.org every 15 minutes (to keep the serverload low) and from review.typo3.org once a minute.
Understanding the graphs
Velocity
This graph works over time.
The red line indicates issues (or reviews) that have been opened. It is important to understand that the numbers add up.
This means that the chart will continually grow.
The purpose of this chart is to quickly identify velocity problems within a project because you can see when less issues (or reviews) have been closed than there have been new issues.
FORGER aggregates these values by weeks - the date indicates the first day of the respective week.
Open Reviews on Forge
This graph works over time.
The chart is based on the "updated_on" property of forge.typo3.org, meaning that whenever an update to an issue takes place or a new review patchset is pushed this property will get updated.
The purpose of this chart is to get an overview of the older issues that are still "under review".
FORGER aggregates these values by weeks - the date indicates the first day of the respective week.
The data goes back for one year.
Open vs. Closed Issues on Forge
This chart works with two different metrics.
The red line indicates new issues, that have been created. So the aggregation uses the property "created_on" of forge.typo3.org.
The green line indicated issues that have changed their status to either "Closed", "Rejected" or "Resolved" and use the "updated_on" property of forge.typo3.org.
The purpose of this chart is to visualize our current velocity. So as long as we close more or an equal amount of issues than have been opened, we're fine.
FORGER aggregates these values by days and will date back the last 60 days.
Tracker Types
C'mon... you know what this does :)
It only takes issues into account that are not either "Closed", "Rejected" or "Resolved".
Review Overview
This chart is pretty straight-forward.
The blue line shows new reviews for the respective day.
The red line shows abandoned reviews for the respective day.
The green line shows merged reviews for the respective day.
In the bottom of the chart you will find two handles that allow to change the timeframe that is displayed.
